I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend. The photos of the funeral are beautiful. I have always hesitated to take photos at a funeral, but these are so emotional and lovingly accomplished that they are a tribute. Well done.

A very sad time of year to have a funeral and yet, in many ways it is a good time...there is so much love, peace and joy abounding and it can't help but be part of remembering someone so loved. I agree...a soul IS always with us, even when the physical body is not.

I would love those pecans (but my hips would not) and I love how you sliced the zucchini and photographed it -- gorgeous!!!!

Soar lady, soar!! I'm getting ready to risk and have already begun!!
