Oh yes...we made it ice skating. OMG...so fun! And thank the lord that my dear Father In Law bought my kids ice skates...cuz the rental line was effing long (I think I would have poked my eyes out standing in that)! I felt sorry for those folks just standing there...waiting...and waiting...while my kids just waltzed right on to the rink (which is free by the way!). Ye! Haw! *smiles*
Honestly, I love a blurry picture now and then. I really do!
Yep...we made it to Magnolia's Bakery. I have no idea what this insanely delicious looking cake is...but I totally want in my belly!
OMG...does that look good or what? I had to move away very quickly after taking this shot.
Mmmmm...cupcakes! OK...I have to be honest here...they are good...but not as good as NYC. And they are so freaking expensive. Ay yi yi! See those mini cupcakes on the counter? There are 12 little cupcakes in that container...and they wanted $18 for that. HUH? I can buy that at Dominick's for $2.99!!! "F" that noise! *shaking head* OK, I bought it. Yes, I am totally disappointed in myself too...but the kids loved it...so whatever.

OK...so Thursday I have a big photoshoot with the company I am working for. Clients are coming in to watch me shoot their products...holy crap! Talk about pressure. I am going in tomorrow to set up and get everything ready. Sheesh...I am nervous as hell! So I figured I better practice...so I took a bunch of photos of eggs today. I really hate eating eggs...yuck...but I think they are pretty to photograph.
Sorry...that sure is a lot of egg photos for one post! LOL.
OK...off to check out your blogs...I have lots of catching up to do!
xoxo

Omelettes for dinner tonight? And breakfast tomorrow?
I love the gorgeousness in this post. Love a blurry photo - that street scene was made for that! And I love your egg still life pictures. From the Anthro carton to the napkin and silverware. It's so beautiful.
Now take a deep breath, and let those clients watch. You are a photographer, Caroline, and you were made to do this job. Your work is awesome. Just pretend they are not there and concentrate on the task in front of you. They would probably give their eye teeth to have the talent you do.
And that's the truth.
C....you so rock your shots...i'm in awe of you and just admire you so much. I'm so excited for you to shoot a clients product....I'd love to see you in action. I mean do you listen to what the client wants or do they ask you for advise...i want to know everything! Love your blurry pics....Good luck on your shoot and can't wait to hear how it goes.
Holy Moly I'm going to dream about that cake!
That first egg picture is dreamy, and I hate eggs too.
