a cat's life...

Does is get any better?  I mean, how great would it be to be a cat?  Maybe not always...but for like a few days?  Just lie there, get pet, have someone feed you and carry you, clean up after you?  Kinda sounds like being a baby too!

Ah well...I suppose it's nice to be human too.  But there are moments when I think..wow...a cat's life really is a good one (as long as you are not an ally cat...that would suck).

Wish I had something more profound to write about today.  I am taking the kiddos ice skating and to Magnolia's for cupcakes.  I hope the Magnolia's here is as good as the one in NYC!  Yummy!

OK...off to freeze my booty off!  Hope you are enjoying your Monday!

xoxo

Yes the life of a cat would be nice for a while. Great shots.

Oh to have the dreamy life of a cat. Your photos speak to the oft slumbering nature of felines.

Cats are Zen masters from a previous incarnation. Got to be. They have a lot to teach us - after a snooze, of course! :o)

Haha - I like the Zen master reference. Cats do have it made; they can lie in the sun, be aloof whenever they want and all their needs are met. Not a bad gig if you can get it. Hope you enjoyed your Monday! afroto

This is great! Rose and I are on the same wave length...the first thing I thought of was hanging out in a sunny window, watching the world go by. Ahhhhhhh

I would want to come back as my cat ... who gets carried up and down the stairs, have the food of my choice and never have to worry about the scary outdoors!

There is a cool outdoor skating rink on Clark Street just north of Wrigley Field.

Hope the cupcake was as good as the one in NYC and it was a good, good day. My week is one of getting small things done, hooray! Feels so good.

I completely agree with you!
I would love the "cat life" just about one day a week.
These are beautiful photographs Caroline.
Save me a cupcake!!

Such beautiful photos of a gorgeous kitty. The Frenchman saw them on my screen and commented on the nice work you do, too.

Blessings,
Carolynn

Adorable cat, but aren't they all? We have many cats and I frequently wish I were one of them...especially as I head off to work everyday while they find the softest, sunniest spot to nap after breakfast. Kinda ticks me off.

Great photos.
I've always said, if I were to have a second chance at life, I would like to come back as a pampered house cat.
