Ok...seriously...this cup! I love it. I spent a nice bit of time in Anthropologie yesterday...well, Kate got it into my head that I should go...so what's a girl to do? Well, I did have a store credit that needed to be taken care of too.
So back to this cup...it's amazing the inspiration it gave me today. Maybe I needed a bit of color...I donno, but this cup makes me happy. Seriously happy. Isn't that funny? There are just certain things...little things...like pretty cups, good coffee, a new manicure (which I did get too), a great song, cupcakes, giggling, the smell of a fresh cut lemon, new sunglasses, a soft comfy sweater on a cold day, fresh flowers, a smile... I love those little things. And really, as I have gotten older, it's the little things that make me happy. Sometimes the big things are just "too big" and not as exciting as those little fun 99 cent things. I am one for instant gratification! *smiles*

So this week is going to be crazy busy...I am shooting all the kids in our school for a fundraising project. That's like 500 kids. OMG...what was I thinking when I volunteered myself for this? Oh well...it should be fun. I think. I hope. Oh boy...

I adore that you are taking 500 children's photographs for a school fundraiser. Being involved in our childrens' school life is hugely rewarding...I did a vast amount of volunteeering and fundraising during my boys' school life. And I think we all know this -- those photos are going to rock!!!

Have fun photographing all those kids. Yes, it is the little things that sometimes make us the happiest. I just knew that cup was anthropology. I found a cup there last year that just had to come home with me and I still use it when I have a drawing, it comes from there.
