OMG...it's a double rainbow...

Okee-doe-kee folks...

This is what happens when you wake and bake...

Or maybe you are "just fine" and really do love nature this much!

Whatever...it's cool.

But...this is...

Seriously hilarious.

Enjoy!

Wow - that's almost embarrassing. The full range of emotions from laughing to crying to hyperventilating. I have to admit I go a little gaga when I see a rainbow too.

I take it this is his first double rainbow. My heavens, he sure was happy to see it.

Since he is never seen...I expected that maybe a little "something else" was going on in that tent.

Shows you what happens when I wake and bake--grin! Sorry!

Yeah. Just saw this on another blog yesterday. Followed the link to YouTube and found out he's an artist and environmentalist who lives outside of Yosemite Natl park (I believe). He could have had a little "mood enhancement med" before witnessing, but it's just possible he had a very spiritual moment. I've felt quite spiritual visiting the Rockies (although perhaps not to that extreme!). Hanging Lake anyone? And other natural areas. Although he is quite extreme!!! Whatever the case may be, I love that someone is so in love with nature :)

nacherluver - I have been to the Rockies and yes, it is very spiritual. And I am sure you are right on this...it's obviously quite a spiritual moment for this person. I really have no idea if he took something and probably should not assume...

But I love that I can NOT laugh when watching this ;)

I was trying really hard to get into the zen of this moment, but I couldn't stop laughing. Talk about orgasmic! On the other hand, a double rainbow in a spectacular setting is incredible. The one thing that bothered me is that he didn't focus and capture one magnificent photo.

Although I hope people recognize the possibility of a truly spiritual moment, I totally agree with you. I was brought to giggles myself! Trust me, I do see the humor and life would not be as brilliant if we did not use our sense of humor :)

He was extreme, but he truly did draw me in. I'm a blubbering mess now.

Thanks. That was enjoyable :)

Came back here to read the comments and now that I know a little more of the backstory, and where he is, I can see he's probably having a very spiritual experience. I've never visited Yosemite but have visited several of our country's national parks and have cried at times just from sheer joy at the beauty that surrounded me.
As far as the double rainbow goes, they're more commonplace than you might think. More often than not, there's a secondary rainbow that accompanies the primary one, but it's often so dim that most people don't even see it.

Here I am watching this and my son comes in the room and say "is that the rainbow guy?" Too funny, but so emotional.
