Delicious sandwiches...an interview...margaritas...and I like it!

Oh yeah...what a weekend. Tess at The Bold Life interviewed me...so excited!  Check it out if you like.  I love Tess!!!

Also, I totally revamped my photography website.  I created a new background (enter the flash site to see the background) and uploaded some great new pics from a recent portrait session.  Would love to get your thoughts!  AND...I added an HTML site for all my friends who have iphones and ipads (didn't realize that you can't see flash sites on moble devices).

OK...

So...I learned something really really cool. I made homemade margaritas! Whooot...they were so good *hic* maybe a little too good! Margarita's are one of those drinks that need to be made right...or they are just awful...IMO. So, I got out the good Blanco tequila, triple sec, fresh lime juice, a bit of Sauza margarita mix...and went to town. Then I bought this awesome mango salt...rimmed the glasses...and poured out a bit of heaven (I drink margaritas on the rocks with salt.) Served it with blue corn chips and garlic chipotle salsa. There is nothing better I tell you!

Mmmmm...yummy!

Oh yeah, I stumbled across this funky little cafe and discovered the best sandwich EVAH! It's so simple too... Toasted baguette with brie and apricot preserves...served with a simple green salad. OMG!!! It was heaven (so glad I had my camera with me!!!).

And because it's Monday, and you may need a little pick me up, here is one of my favorite songs of the summer (and Enrique is nice on the eyes too *wink*).

Have a great day!
xoxo

sounds like a great time. pressed brie sandwiches are always yummy.

WOW! I went over to visit Tess, and what a pleasant surprise, to read the interview, and view your creative art/photography!

Had my last Tequila (I only drank from the bottle!) more than 36 years ago, but STILL I can "taste" it when it is described so lovingly--grin!

(No, I am NOT "tempted, BTW!) But it is good for me to visit with you this afternoon...and evolve a little bit with you....

PEACE.
tequil-a-roni

(Shhhh!) Don't tell my AA Peeps I wrote that signature--grin!!!!

Um, yup...gotta get me some lunch now. *Note it will be nothing nearly as good-looking as you had!*

I don't drink that often but once in a while I'll have a Margareta if my husband is making them. They go down so good.

The sandwich looks great too - yum.

ok, i WANT A MARGARITA! one of yours, por favor!

and that sandwich looks DIVINE!!!!

i gave up margaritas a long time ago....alcohol and i have a love hate relationship....

that sandwich looks divine...totally worth photographing :)

That looks beautiful and must taste delicious. But as soon as I see it I think of the hangover it will bring!
Destilled drinks do that, because they are like chocolote,if really good, you just can't have one!

Steveroni from the bottle?
OMG!! LOL

I'll keep the meal
:)

I love brie. I'll have to give this sandwich a try.

One of my favourite drinks is a Lemon Drop Martini. I posted the recipe here some time ago. You'll have to scroll to the bottom to see it:

Definitely nice on the eyes!
The sandwich sounds yummmy. Thanks!

DELISH! Amazing photos too!

Loved the interview and the video has me dancing in my office! Thanks.

Ooooh, that margarita sounds absolutely yummy.... ;)

Just read your interview over on Tess's blog and loved it! :)

Hi Caroline,
My hubs has a great recipe for watermelon margaritas! Love the photo of the sandwich!

oh gosh, now I am so hungry, those images are awesome.

I've never been much of a drinker. However, since my knee injury we have been having lots of friends over and both serving and receiving lots of yummy *beverages*. I told Sandie the other day, "I think I am getting the hang of this drinking thing." I also added, "Maybe I should limit it to social occasions, though."

She agreed with both statements. :-)

We'll have to try your margarita recipe, for sure.

That sandwich is calling my name! Great photos, as always.

Thanks for Enrique this morning! The sandwich looks so good.
