If I were...

Oh now this was fun...I got this from the wonderful Debi at emma tree.

I will leave this with you...please play along if you like.  And I will see you all shortly...leaving for sweet home Chicago tomorrow!

if i were a month: i’d be October changing colors and Indian Summers,
if i were a day i’d be a Sunday...quiet and still,
if i were a time of day i’d be the quiet hush of the blue hour,
if i were a font i’d free and stylish,
if i were a sea animal i’d be a dolphin,
if i were a direction i’d be due west,
if i were a piece of furniture i’d be a Hastings bed
if i were a liquid i’d be the smoothest, darkest, richest coffee,
if i were a gemstone i’d be smokey quartz...protective and healing,
if i were a tree i’d be a cherry tree bearing fruit and blossoming,
if i were a flower i’d be a pale fragrant peony,
if i were an element of weather i’d be a gentle caressing wind,
if i were a musical instrument i’d be a french horn,
if i were a color i’d be a lovely shade of green,
if i were an emotion i’d be caring and kind,
if i were a fruit i’d be a sweet juicy nectarine,
if i were a sound i’d be OM
if i were an element i’d be gold,
if i were a car i’d be a Range Rover
if i were a food i’d be a delicious Chicago style pizza
if i were a place i’d be a romantic ramblas in Spain ,
if i were a taste i’d be delicious dark chocolate with a touch of sea salt,
if i were a scent i’d be subtle grapefruit and fresh wild flowers,
if i were a body part i’d be soft kissable lips,
if i were a song i’d be Windswept by Brian Ferry,
if i were a bird i’d be an Owl,
if i were a city i’d be a small town in Spain,
if i were a door i’d be open,
if i were a pair of shoes i’d be beautiful and danceable,
if i were a poem I would be The Road Less Traveled by Robert Frost.

See you soon!
xoxo

Enjoy your trip to Chicago! This was fun. I may give it a go, too.

Something about sweet-bitter-salty chocolate combo! Safe trip darling & enjoy the pizza there~

Dark chocolate with a touch of sea salt! Oh yes, I could be that. Lovely list.

I've done this on my blog, too. It was a great list to complete! I really enjoyed reading yours.

The bad news is that it is 35 degrees right now in Chicago with a 25 mph north wind. The good news is that it is supposed to warm up remarkably over the next couple of days to the 60s and 70s.

Have a good trip!

I saw that on Relyn's blog a while ago and started my list. Eventually I will complete it. :)

I love your creativity lately--absolutely blossoming, and inspiring:) Enjoy your trip....

I saw this over on Kate's blog yesterday and I also plan to play along. I loved reading your answers....it read like a beautiful poem.

Have a great time in Chicago, Caroline!

I want to be you when I grow up ♥

Hope you have a gorgeous time... and If you were...
I think tou already are all those
Hugs!

I have been catching back up with you for the past few weeks in my reader, and this is one of my favorite posts so far ... and not just because I was thinking of my own responses to those questions but because I truly loved reading your answers.

This was beautiful, Caroline. Enjoy your time away.
