my kind of town!
I am here and feeling at home*deep sigh* and the weather is so amazing I have to pinch myself. I went to my old neighborhood this morning to get my coffee from my very favorite coffee shop, Letezia's. Oh man, it was wonderful. I love being back in "my city"...I know Chicago so well. Although I love where I live now, nothing is better than going back to your roots...don't you agree?
Anyway, here are some photos from my day. Enjoy!
Take a peek...I am blooming 365 days in 2010

Oh Caroline do take me along even further with you on your trip 'home'. Never been to Chicago.
Happy times.
I adore that pic of the dog! Glad to hear you are having a fab time ~ xo
Breathtakingly beautiful photos, Caroline. They never fail to leave me awe-struck. Have a wonderful time back 'home'. I know the feeling; I get it whenever I go back to Greece.
So happy for you! I don't like 'going back home'. The last high school reunion I went to, I couldn't get out of that town fast enough. I've never been back.
BTW, who is that gorgeous fellow in the last photo?!? He/she looks like a regal sphinx.
Glad you are having a fab time. I really enjoyed being home with my Mom. have an awesome time. I love your new header by the way. so glad to be back and able to visit. take care.
The ears!!!
I love Chicago too. It's on my very short list of midwest cities that I could live in (if only the winters were a bit less cold).
oh, it sounds like you are in heaven. wishing you a grand time away, or home.
It was pretty nice here today. That is a good bakery; filled with sinful things.
Wonderful collection of pictures! Sounds like fun.
i wish i had known, i would have met you for coffee... chocolate... popcorn. lol
glad you are home safe.
