I am riled up folks!
I got my fighting gloves on and I am ready to throw down.
Oh yeah.
I will not go quietly.
Life is too short.
I am in the ring with fear.
Fear is big.
Fear is strong.
Fear is a whole bunch of nastiness!
But I have been training.
And I am ready to face fear.
Bring it.
Will fear knock me down?
Perhaps.
But I will get up.
Oh yes I will get the fuck back up!
Because I am stronger now.
And I won't give up on myself.
Life is short.
So...I got my gloves on and I am in that ring.
*ding*
There is no turning back now.
What's the worst thing that could happen?
I'll get knocked out?
Yeah well...you know what's worse?
Not getting in the ring at all.
Not trying.
And letting fear win without a fight.
.
.
.
So? What are you going to fight for?
Take a peek...I am blooming 365 days in 2010

I'm humming the theme song from "Rocky" for you!
Yes! You Go Caroline!! I am fighting for my peace..Family drama can steal it at times, especially when you have nothing to do with it, but they try to suck you in. I REFUSE!!
do not go gently
good for you! gearing up for a fight is better than laying down and taking it!!!
Caroline,
Keep bringin' it...
(and know that you inspire me)
I put my own boxing gloves on often :)
I know you have it in you to fight....and hard !
and exactly what you said...better to have tried then to have not tried at all.....
The way to conquer fear is acceptance. Fighting just makes it worse.
YES!
i'll get up with you!
Great post chica"!
Remember Pat Benatar: "Hit Me With Your Best Shot?" You've got the power to overcome the fear Caroline. I can hear it in your words.
That's exactly what's worse - not getting into the ring at all.
I'll fight for your right, mine, and the right of all persons to fight fear.
Yeah!
Caroline's kicking some butt.
Hey, you know what I love about fear? You can substitute the word "apprehension" and recognize that what is actually going on is a re-collection of something you need. If you apprehend something, you nab it as yours, as you continue constantly evolving into pure wholeness. Open up and apprehend your totality. How exciting!
I must confess that I have stopped fighting fear (or anything) and am talking to it. Fighting never worked. But trying to understand it and negotiate with it seems to work quite well .. when I can manage it.
Tadatadatada...You go girl. I'm here with you. I'm also fighting for Me this year. So let's stand strong together.
Hugs Dagmar
Well you got me all powered up here. Glad you are so charged up, you wil overcome whatever is in your way. take care.
I pick my battles carefully these days. I have only so much fight left in me.
I must be honest. Fighting is not a choice that feels good to me personally. But standing up, looking fear in the eyes and watching it slowly back away once it knows it has been seen, that works for me. Or embracing it, like the old companion it is also seems to soften it and diminish it's ability to knock me out. We all have our own ways of living with fear, and must be with it in the way that feels appropriate moment to moment. If fighting is what makes sense for you, than I wish for you strength, courage and endurance.
clap-clap-clap- I'm cheering you on!
Fear down to the count of more than 10!
xo
This great quote appeared for me, maybe it will help you too: "We don't solve our problems, we outgrow them." ~ Carl Jung
I hope your Darkness is gone soon :)
Caroline,
I think everything you photograph and write is poster ready! You could sell a zillion of these...how about the cover of a journal?
Love it and thanks for the inspiration!
You get in that ring and kick some ass, girl! You are my hero and inspiration ~ xo
Sometimes we need a fire lit under our ass to kick some ass. Sounds like you're on fire. Squash that fear.
"You can conquer almost any fear if you will only make up your mind to do so. Fro remember, fear doesn't exist anywhere except in the mind." ~Dale Carnegie~
Strong and true. Bold and fierce. I fought in the ring over breast cancer. I was David, it was Goliath. I was fierce and determined...cancer picked the wrong chick to mess with and I let it know who was boss. I conquered fear because I chose to be a warrior...never going down easily, never going down without a fight. ^5 on your spirit!!! You rock!!! ♥
