...I know...2 posts in one day!

OK...here's the thing.  I have been having this really weird twitching thing going on with my finger on my left hand.  For almost a month my index finger just starts spazzing out (that's a medical term by the way...lol).  It's just weird.  It doesn't hurt at all...but it's damn annoying!

So....

I am at Costco and my finger starts spazzing out again and now I am getting freaked out.  Thinking it's the onset of Parkinsons, ALS, MS...something horrible and terminal...for sure!  As I am driving home it hits me...I have to see an acupuncturist...TODAY...and as soon as freaking possible!

So...

I get home and get on the internet and luckily find a woman in the neighborhood.  And in 30 minutes I am at her office.  Now this is my first time getting acupuncture.  I have had cranial sacral, Reiki, shamanic and crystal healing (yeah, I get around)...but never acupuncture.

So...

The Dr. immediately notices that my crown chakra is WIDE open and I have too much electromagnetic stress in my head.  My energy is wild and not grounded (this totally makes sense).  We talk for a few minutes and the needles start going in.  Coooooool...I am feelin' all kinds of things.  My leg starts twitching.  Then, she presses on my sternum, asking me which spot felt the most tender.  I place my finger on the spot and in goes the needle.  Then, I burst out laughing.  Seriously.  I am just laughing and laughing.  She goes on to explain that I have a lot of fire energy and this is releasing.  Then...my body starts to shake.  Kind of like I am shivering really bad, but I am not at all cold.  I am surprisingly not freaking out about this.  The Dr. starts spraying "white light" and opens the door to the room and leads a path outside of the building (it's a small office) so this energy can escape.  She goes on to explain that I have "downloaded a whole bunch of energy from the universe" and it needs to leave my body.  I go on to shake for about 1 minute more...then, nothing.  Over.  Whoa!  She gives me a ball of jet to hold and a black tourmaline wand.  I can feel the energy pull down from my head and exit out of my feet.

When I leave the office my finger twitching is still there...but it's very very slight.  And I feel totally awesome.

So I go home and pull a healing card from my "soul cards" deck.  And this is what I pulled...



How cool is that?
 
Now I have to spend a little more time looking at this so I can figure out the message.  But I have a very good idea what it means.

I think I love acupuncture...

wacky but cool. :) i had an interesting experience once where the pup was trying to ground me because my energy was going crazy.

i have not tried cranial sacral or accupunture but do want to try both eventually.

Now this is just amazingly cool! It's the muse! You've downloaded the muse! :) She's taking you somewhere. A good place.

Well...I sure hope the muse didn't totally leave my body ;) But I am enjoying the grounded feeling right now. Man-o-man that was something else...

Wow, how cool is that! Your card totally matches what you've described here. Maybe too much blogging is bringing all that twitching into your finger...LOL
I've never done acupuncture but everyone that I know that has swears by it! I need to try it :)

I get twitches all the time in various parts of my body. It's annoying as hell but I just ignore it.

I've had quantum touch treatments twice by two different energy healers. It was kind of weird but very relaxing. I would love to try acupuncture.

What an amazing experience! I do know that sometimes we are so wide open (as your healer indicated) that our bodies just cannot process nor handle that kind of energy. Grounding can be so important. I dear intuitive friend of mine recommends two things to ground: plenty of water with lemon; and going outside, barefoot, connecting with the earth, feeling the grass under your feet, touching a tree, and so one. I imagine the Muse did not leave, just maybe needed to connect with you from a more grounded place so you can really focus....Enjoy this journey. (This does seem like the perfect soul card for this moment...)

What a wondrous experience! It must have been so amazing to understand the energies and how they're been working in your body. Kinda makes sense of the uneasy feeling you've been having with this writing gift you've been working with. Wow! Wow! Wow! Very cool about the soul card, too. I'd love to find an acupunturist like that.

well you are freaking me out! i think i need some acupuncture to spice up my life! and i think that energy that you let go needs to find its way into ME! :)

when I began reading this post I thought "she must go to an acupuncturist!" I was so delighted to see that is what you did. It sounds like you had a session that will inspire you for quite a while! I was thinking the twitch might be nerve related...

Caroline, I had acupuncture for weight loss years ago and my sister and I had gone to see the acupuncturist together. When we were done we walked down four flights of stairs, not saying a word, just so peaceful. When we got to the door outside, we looked at one another and we both burst out laughing, I said that I had never felt so good and that I felt like I had lost one hundred pounds. she looked at me and laughed because she felt the same. I went for awhile but it was too expensive...I may go again for my energy level now. Good luck with all thinkgs. sorry about such a long comment.

I get those twitches in my eye lid, finger and sometimes in my upper arm...

Wow. I didn't know that sort of thing could happen. I well, just wow.

Now I have never had an experience like that in acupuncture. I did have a numb finger and side of my hand recently and went to the acupunturist. He was able to clear things up fairly quickly, which was a very good thing. I often go there before my regular doctor, as he helps me understand what I need to talk to my regular doctor about.

I have never heard anything like that at all....I see an acupuncturist and she has never done any weird stuff like that....and I say weird in the kindest way, but that shit would have freaked me out !
