Mosaic Monday - Tuscan Romance

It's been forever since I read a book! Yesterday I picked up The last Promise...a book that has been sitting on my shelf for 5 months. This weekend has been a cool and cloudy...the perfect type of weather to stay in bed and read.  Now, I am hooked!   It's a great book to escape into.  Nothing too "literary" but great story telling about an American woman in Tuscany.  Sometimes it's just nice to get lost in a romance...don't you think?

So this mosaic is my tribute to Tuscany (although the photo of the couple dancing is in Antwerp...but lets just pretend it's Tuscany...I just love the movement of this photo and it fits so well here).  I love Tuscany and wish I had a good camera when I was there years ago.  I can get lost in these photos...calgon take me away!

Here's to getting lost in a Tuscan romance...a nice thing to do every now and then.

Love your mosaics, Caroline. Coming here is like having dessert after a very nice meal.

And your template displays it so nice..

Yes, I feel I could get lost in your gorgeous mosaic of dreamy images. :)

Good Morning Caroline!
I love your choices of pictures, and staying in and reading for a weekend sounds lovely! I have not read in sometime either! I've been carrying around the Lost Symbol for a couple weeks now, there just never seems to be enough down time!

My Mosaic Monday

It's like seeing a whole new country in one great shot..Fantastic mosaic!

Oh how I would love to visit there someday! And I have to admit that I am a voracious reader of romance novels -- even the trashy ones. ;) thanks so much for joining the fun at Mosaic Monday. :)

Thanks for taking us along - lovely, lovely photographs!

Wow, I love your mosaic. It takes you away.

My goodness, Caroline! THIS is breath-taking! Any one of these would make a beautiful canvas - nice and big.

That is a really wonderful mosaic. I love how you've put "different kinds" of pictures together. It really creates an atmosphere.

That's beautiful Caroline! I haven't read a great romance book in years, but I love watching romantic movies on the weekends. :)

hello!! i sure would love to visit tuscany in real life! until then, i guess i will settle for it in picture or book format! :)

Little do you know how I dream of Tuscany. Truly, I hope to live there someday. It speaks to my soul. I have postcards brought from there by a dear friend and I look at them all the time and dream. I imagine an old villa to restore, a writer's paradise, a welcome haven for visiting family, vast meals and vistas. Golden light. I am in heaven. Thank you for transporting me once again. xo

P.S. I'll have to put your book on my reading list. I just finished one that was a weeper!

I guess you'll just have to go back now that you have a new camera! Your mosaic is beautiful, of course. Lovely photos that make me want to visit Tuscany, too!

It would be nice to get lost in Tuscany. Beautiful, romantic mosaic. I need to get back into my books too :)

this mosaic is window into a very special place `thank you for sharing your inspiration!

The pictures make my heart ache to see Europe!!

It is nice to get lost in a nice romantic novel. I'm doing some "serious" reading right now, but will soon pick up a nice romance for some light refreshment. Lovely mosaic!

A great collection. I have never been to Tuscany though always wanted to. But if you love Tuscany - you will love Venice. If you haven't been you simply MUST. It is a photographer's paradise - and very romantic too ;o) The best time to go is just before Carnival in February - the place is empty and soulful and the shops are stocking up with masks and party stuff ready for the Carnival.

Love. This. it is good to get lost. and I can't think of a better place. I would love to see your photographs of Tuscany, too, by the way. Good camera. Or not.
