Hello change

In the spotlight

Today is a new day...ahhhhh. I love a fresh start. The world is mine...I have the ability to choose.  I honor my decisions, because they come from a place of truth.  After weeks of toiling and thinking and debating...I am shutting down "The Zen In You."  I am not sad at all.  It served a purpose for over a year...but I changed.  And now it does not fit.  So why keep it around, like dead weight?  Why keep anything that does not fit anymore?  Like a pair of old jeans 4 sizes too small...let them go!

All of us are evolving and it's important to honor that.  We change.  Circumstances change.  It's OK.  No, it's more than OK...it's great!  Like the seasons, we need to change.  Clear out, let go, hibernate, re-grow and bloom into our full potential.  A beautiful cycle of life.

Look around your life for a moment...how are you evolving and changing?  What needs to go so you can grow?

I'll be sad to see The Zen in You go away, but I'm glad you have this blog, and Dream Weaver, so I can keep getting my "Caroline" fix ;)

I like this blog too...Do what you gotta do. Like me bailing on life for the last month. I needed to get away and now I am back and I think better for it.
Do what makes you happy

Postive change and growth is what life is all about. Good for you for embracing it!

As usual, spot on, Caroline! I have been doing this myself a lot lately. I ask myself everyday, what do I want to do today? I follow the lead. We so often get stuck doing the same thing...maybe it worked once for us but if it doesn't any longer we need to let it go.

Life has it's seasons and we must grow with them.
Follow your heart, Caroline! You have excellent instincts and are just such a special person. I adore you and your beautiful spirit. You are always an inspiration to me.
Hugs!
Kelly

It's affirming to the spirit to moves towards change that works for you at this moment in your life. This blog is a beautiful place to be.

Hi there - I just discovered your blog. I think letting go is so important, clearing space for what's next. And I like that you "blog without obligation or rules." Because sometimes it seems like there are a lot of rules. Refreshing! Thanks!

As long as you're still here!

It takes a lot of strength to let go and move forward. I have been wanting change to my own blog, but still working out if I need new blog or a revamp of the existing blog. I guess I am still deciding on the direction and purpose I require to grow. You have give me the inspiration to think more seriously about my needs. Thank you.

I myself could never keep track of more than 1 blog. I do agree that letting go is the best gift we can give to ourselves, especially with things that don't fit!

For some reason tonight, your photo on this post took several seconds to load. But when it did, I gasped.
The image is respledent, Caroline! I love the balls of light.

You're absolutely right about letting to. I'm backing you 100% to close "The Zen In You". You're doing the right thing to yourself. :)

Thank you for the kind words you left on my blog. I'm going through such a major creative life change that I need time off to work things out.

Caroline, what a timely post. I am realizing that I have so many interests and I need to simplify a bit. I have too many things I want to do and am now realizing that I am not doing anything really well. Time to downsize. :)

congrats on the decision - sometimes freedom is just taking the first step to letting something go.

well said and touching post! i do feel like i continue to evolve and grw every day, especially creatively. i'm still pondering what needs to go next. i'll figure it out. there's no need to hurry.

your photography is gorgeous. love the soft tones and the attention to detail.

Change is a good thing and as hard as the decision must have been for you, I'm sure you will feel better for it.

What needs to go so you can grow? This is a great question, Caroline, and one I need to give some thought to as I've felt so confused lately about what direction I am headed in creatively.

It's true. We sometimes hold onto things just for the comfort of knowing that they are there, or just through fear of letting go. Onward, we go! Love the photo! It's delicious like candied love. :)

Caroline, once again you have touched on a very important subject.

Change can be so rewarding if we can find a way to look at change as opportunity to be better without loosing our strengths and knowledge.....change becomes a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

I reiterate what Kelly said "you are always an inspiration to me", and I am very happy you are following this path of change.

Hugs

I'm gladd to see how wonderful you're dealing with change. Good job. And thanks for reminding me to look at my life...I just made a start but now it feels after reading your post thing reveal themselfes more clear to me. Hugs and I'll keep you informed.

Farewell "The Zen In You". I was blessed with your presence and your wisdom.

I am very happy that you are continuing to grow, Caroline. I for one have benefited from your experience. "The Zen In You" served its purpose and you should be proud of yourself for all the work you put into it.

I'm also grateful that I can still get my Caroline fix here and at DreamWeaving. Keep being you.

you go girl...embrace change! i live for it (drives hubby slightly batty though...) i just LOVE your photos :0)

I'm a big one for letting go of that which no longer serves my highest and best self. Thank you for The Zen in You, which also allowed me to find this site.

I need to let go of my compulsion for letting my curiousity lead me all around the web and using too much of my time.

is beauty,
