I am all about purging and cleaning right now...what's in the air??? My home...my body...my blogs...just about everything! I have spent the past day going through closets, drawers, and even my computer! Tonight I will being my photo purge and organization (and back up too!). I don't know about you, but I love to get rid of stuff (I try to donate as much as possible). It feels so good. And I do believe that when we get rid of things we don't need, we make room in our lives for "more." And I don't mean more material things, I mean more good energy!
Purging and cleaning is good. Good for the soul and the spirit! I do this every few months and I am amazed at what gets out grown, over used, ignored and never worn or used. Crazy!
When was the last time you spent a good day going through your stuff? Perhaps this post will spark that need for you today...

I love to clean too...LOL
My last two-week vacation break was spent doing much the same. It feels good to get rid of "stuff," to pare down and make life more simple. It definitely creates more energy! I think the less we have the more we have, in many ways.

my theory is that there are hoarders and chuckers. i'm a chucker, for sure!
Rejoice in the purging and getting rid of; then return to us with a fresh new start.

I heard once that 'clutter means your life is out of control'! I've thought about that many times when my clutteredness starts taking over, and I really don't like that feeling. 'Feng Shuiers' believe clutter blocks positive energy from coming into your life, so thank-you for the reminder today. . .I'll be getting my rubber gloves out and rolling up my sleeves and start decluttering so I can make room for those positve vibes!!!!Great post

I have been in that clean and purge mood for a while, too. It is very cleansing to the mind as well as the home.
I would love to clean and purge this weekend, but I have another batch of essays to grade! Somehow, with hours of grading ahead of me, cleaning looks even more fun!

As much as I purged when we moved, I am still finding more. Some things I just was not ready to part with in FL, others it did not seem the "season". I am also finding that I am more reluctant to bring MORE into the house, instead trying to do just what you said, fill that space with good energy.
When you get a chance, if you are not already familiar with it, look up the term wabi sabi. I think you will love it! I learned it at an art gallery last week that I have blogged (probably too much about).
