Ever feel a little over booked, crazed, and overwhelmed?
That's where I am right now. Today the kiddies went back to school...and now it's time to buckle down. Summer vacation is officially over. Much needs to be done and I am in over my head. So if I can't get to all of you right now...I apologize! I need to get a good routine set.
Is it me, or did this summer just fly?

Summer totally flied by!! It was like it never happened. I want a summer redo.
...relax!! The kids are back to school. You can get it all done. Just make a list. Making a list always settles me down to focus. I am sure that you already did this

I know what you mean by needing to find a routine. I'm right there too. I'm trying to ease into one, instead of force it like I usually do.

Back to school is always stressful the first couple weeks and then it's like, ahhhhh, Mom has free time! Ya! Kids in school all day gives Mom time to play :D

I know exactly what you mean! I have a fair bit on my plate in my everyday life but yet I went and signed myself up for Jamie's next book club yesterday which, later this month, will overlap The Artist's Way book club I'm already participating in....but hey, I'm Wonder Woman, right?! Talk about biting off more than I can chew but, what can I say...I'm addicted! lol

Yes summer always flys and winter always drags by. We are just coming out of winter now and Spring has sprung with beautiful warm weather....altogether now awwwww!

I get the summer getting over and the routine setting in...but i take it one step at a time....slow and steady. All will be great...just remember to breathe. :)
I can't stop looking at the tip of that flower petal. The deep indigo against the wash of fushia is just so gorgeous! I was feeling pretty crazed too, until I looked at that image. :)

I agree, Caroline. I do not think it is just you. Everything is abuzz. It feels like mega cups of caffeine. Now that I have my daughter off to school things should settle down. It's getting back into that more soulful, quiet routine I enjoy! Hope you get to the beach this weekend...I am! Breathe....

now that I live in a serious winter land, when summer is past, winter is on the tip of everyone's lips. But wait there is fall.... but are you ready, prepared for winter? so different in a serious seasonal place! I am from S. Ca. before here, so very different. Your photo is so lovely. Whoa is right. This photo is beautiful. Summer was good for me, not too fast. August went fast, though, so I'm not being completely honest.
It won't take long to get back in the groove of school days, hopefully!
