I love the light of fall...everything awashed in amber hues. I wish I could just wrap myself in this deliciousness and stay there for awhile. It's been such a joy seeing autumn splashed all over blogsphere too...so much beauty to behold.
Anyway...I am feeling so much better today... My decision proved to be good. Funny how something one day seems so heavy and big...then seems to lighten overnight.
Yes...life goes on.
I was so lucky to take this photo last week in Chicago...the gorgeous light through the leaves. The brilliant reds and oranges. I will hold on to this. Cherish this. This is all the fall I will get. Oh how I miss a "real" fall. It is my favorite season (I am sure you figured that out by now). The fall transforms something inside of me. I begin to feel more settled. And sometimes I just need that.
The light of fall is so special. Precious. Fleeting. Deep. Spectacular. Glorious. Transcendent.
Now go out and enjoy it!

Splendid colors indeed! Fall and Spring are my favorite seasons. They are softer and full of nuances that the other two don't seem to have.

I have to agree and say I the the afternoon light in Autumn. I often see the sun low in the sky at that time of year driving home in traffic and wishing, just wishing I had my camera and could be out capturing something.

fall is an amazing season. So many people up in the NW say it is their favorite as well! I am loving being out wandering in nature for a couple weeks in fall and her glorious expression. So glad you are feeling better, tis the way.... everything changes. Fall sure shows us this!

What a positively magical shot! So beautiful! Fall has never been my favorite season. In fact, living in Minnesota for so long, it has always just been the season which precedes intense displeasure (winter!). I love to feel it from your perspective. It's much more lovely from your eyes. :)
