Giving tree

A favorite book of mine...do you remember this book? That is what I thought when I saw this tree. This tree gives me peace, hope, happiness, strength, gratitude and grounding. I love the twisted branches...all the different directions it's growing in. Like many of us. Not straight, but twisty.

Like life.

I loved that book because I loved the tree. I thought the little boy was quite a selfish little you know what though.
I bought it for my friend who just had a baby.

Like the tree in our front yard. Your description is perfect.

Good book. Gorgeous photo, so rich and full of detail.

I love that book dearly. My son had to listen to me read that to him tearfully for many many years! I did a post on it as well last fall. It's one of my favorites. Love the orange sky.

I'm definitely "twisty" :) In a good way, I hope!

Just stunning, Caroline. We have had some gorgeous sunsets lately and we have just one tree that always sits smack dab in the middle of the view. I love this tree and follow the seasons through it...Thanks for these words and the reminder about this great book.
